St. Lucia Day 1 & Traveling through DC

I made it to St. Lucia A-OK.  My flight from NY to DC was a breeze.  I metro'd it to Linda's house for dinner at a great place called Ulah's Bar & Cafe (fancy sit down place), and then we cabbed it to the airport at 4am.  No problems getting to Miami and then onto St. Lucia.  Customs wasn't fun, but the resort is cool.  Very quiet.  VERY quiet.  It's off-season, and it rained almost all evening... but it's such a warm rain... and the ocean is warm and beautiful!  I was running on very little sleep so I went to bed around 9pm last night.   I look forward to a full day today out in the sun.  It's also nice the resort has like 1/10th capacity.  And all bars have free drinks.. whatever you want.  Linda and I are going to do a open-top jeep safari tour and visit the island.
