Rough rough rough!

I've had a rough couple of weeks through the closing process. I thought my landlord issues were over.. since I was simply going to write off May's rent as just another cost of buying a house and give a sendoff "screw you" to him by not doing his dirty work and finding a new tenant. (And maybe leave a bulleted list of items for people viewing the apartment...)

But yesterday I received a letter in the mail from my landlord stating I have not paid April's rent and that if I do not pay it immediately, they will report me as a non-payor to the credit agencies.

Nice.

My bank has stated that he has accepted the bill payment and processed it. I use Chase billpay and have for the past 5 years for rent. The funds were dispersed to him. He's lying. Probably due to that letter I sent him. I'm having the bank issue proof of his deposit and am sending it to him today.
