Thanksgiving Weekend!

Scared for family time

Not gonna describe it all, but Thanksgiving weekend has been a blast. Got out of work at 2, worked on homework for a bit, baked 4 pies and 4 dozen cookies, cleaned (procrastinating) and finally headed home to my mom's place. Thanksgiving was HUGE at my mom's, with 19 people (more than normal) and was crazy with 2 turkeys and enough corn casserole to kill an army. After people left, I headed back to Rochester to spend a couple hours with Seth, Kelly and a couple of their friends for dessert and games...

Kelly made a Ninja cake. Jealous? It was pretty good, too!

Black Friday was insane... insane. A quick twitter recap:

03:55 AM
Nola just left. Four am is just a tad too early for me

04:48 AM
Heading out. . . Black Friday here we come! Alex just walked by. . I gave him a ten percent off coupon for their tv purchase

05:13 AM
Sears was a bust. Couldn't find anything. On to bon ton.

05:24 AM
The people in front of me are saying how stupid it was that Kohls was open at four. Do they realize what time they're here?

05:39 AM
Never in my life have I seen the combined parking lots of Market Place mall Kohls and Target full at once

05:52 AM
Sitting in the Target parking lot with Nola planning our upcoming purchases. The line is at least 400 people long!

06:11 AM
Damn! All out.

06:29 AM
Target shall now be renamed to Gone in Sixty Seconds :(

06:55 AM
Walmart was a bust. At BJs standing in line waiting for a last chance on a tv.

07:34 AM
Didn't get the price I wanted but I did get the tv. And tax free too!

07:54 AM
Picking up my new recliner at Big Lots

08:09 AM
I wonder if that huge line is for the liquor store? I wouldn't blame them.

08:40 AM
Going out to breakfast with Nola to celebrate!

08:57 AM
Okay somehow I ended up back at Bon Ton

09:53 AM
A girl just asked me where she was. Poor girl.

And then I spent the afternoon working on homework with my Marketing group for 6 hours.. (tired?) I fell asleep and slept from 6pm until 8:30am the next morning. Yes. Impressive. But I did only get 4 hours of sleep on Thursday night, so it's justifiable. Right?

But I spent most of Saturday cleaning and setting up my new living room. It went slowly, but I am really extremely happy with the results. My new furniture is so very comfortable and my new television is amazing. I just can't stop watching movies and TV shows. And plus, the new TV detecting 19 additional HDTV channels my old TV never could. So now I have HD ABC and HD NBC for free. Sweet! And last night was Chinese food and playing with the dogs with Jake, Rachael and Amber.

Okay, morning homework and such today... our presentations are this week. A semester's worth of work coming to conclusion THIS WEEK. I'm excited to be done with my MBA... and it's been great. I've enjoyed this quarter the very best out of all of them. I've been working with some great people.

Then doing something else with Jake tonight. Dunno what yet. See ya!
