Holding my breathe until...

Both Tuesday and Thursday went exceptionally well, besides the whole 'life crashing to an end with hard drive failure' thing. ;) Life moves on. I'll prolly end up changing the whole way I handle TV downloads due to this fiasco. Oh well, I'm past it.
I finally got my bike fixed. The guys at the bike shop were of little help, but I ended up buying the tire and tube I needed (well, good enough) and got it on my bike, pumped up (without any bums) and back in working order in just a couple hours. I also installed the new part onto my elliptical machine and gave the thing a whirl. Thirty minutes goes by a hellava lot faster than I remember.
I've separated the birds. The mother, named lovingly 'Cindy', has been attacking her children, and since the store doesn't want them, they need to be kept apart. Unfortunately the cage I have available is half the size for twice the number of birds. So they spend most of their time falling and running into each other. Fun stuff in the Langslow apartment at 7am.
Exams are coming up for my class already. It's hard to believe that next week is already mid-term, but hey, thats what you get for taking accelerated quarters. Well, not you. Me. Though I have homework due tonight that I really have no idea how to do because I missed last week's class due to DC.
Yesterday a couple of us (coworkers) went to Paola's Burrito Place for lunch. I haven't been in awhile, and wanted to reclaim some memories from my trip to Mexico.. so I ordered some pork mexican tacos. While they were good, they weren't anything in comparison. Unfortunate. I guess I'll just have to go back to Mexico. Though in the mean time, I'll stick to my beef burrito from now on. Eeek, has it come to this? Blogging about food?
I wonder how Laura's honeymoon is going for her. I think about her every day on my way to work. Imagining all the fun stuff they must be doing. The warm weather (unlike the 49 degree weather here in Rochester) and the cool breazes. Ugh. Now I wanna go. White sandy beaches... just what I need.
Tomorrow is Golf Cart driving all day for Meliora Weekend, then mom is coming up in the evening and spending all day at UR with me on Saturday, then Corn Maze on Saturday night, and hanging out with Jake on Sunday. Looking forward to a couple days off, and a lot of excitement over the weekend.
